Perth Trip : Day 2

August 04, 2017

16th April (Day 2: Freemantle Day Trip)

  • Walked from our home to Thornlie Station (about 1-2 km mind you, and yes i lost 5 kg from this trip, ha!). But it was Easter Day, a public holiday in Aussie. So the train route to and fro Thornlie was closed. Thus we had to took the bus from the station to Victoria Station, and took another alternative bus to Perth CBD,
  • At Perth CBD, we walked a few metres to the Perth Station, took the railway straight to Freemantle Station.
  • Arrived at Freemantle around 11 am, just about time for lunch at the famous Kaili's Fish and Chip Restaurant.
  • Took a walk around Freemantle..visited the Esplanade, ate the most divine bubble waffle, bought some souvenirs from E-Shed Market. This shop was fully occupied by Malaysians!
  • Freemantle Market only operates on Friday-Sunday.

The notice of railway closure.

 Perth Central Station.
TIPS: for family, you can purchase the Family Rider ticket, one ticket for a family of four or more/ This ticket can be used to travel on any TransPerth transport (rail, / bus)  for the whole day!

Spot Kaili's!

Their order system. I think Nasi Ganja in Ipoh should apply the same.

Gelatos.

...and cakes are among other things you can find here in Kailis.

What we ordered. One Fish and Chips, orange juices and a latte for me.

You can also rent a bicycle around here.

The Famous Freemantle Market.

The stall with the best waffle I've tasted.

See that Ice Cream drizzled with Caramel Sauce..yums!

There was a street show during our visit..they were watching it.

Very helpful bus stop signage...I love Perth!
