....is all i needed,and what i get!hehe.

This week was so hectic,i've been dealing with work non-stop for 8 hours 4 days and it got me think that i deserve a quick getaway to release some tense.and me being me,i reminded that i still owe my husband an anniversary plus birthday gift (from last year!) so yeah this is kinda the opportunity to give him the present.

Then, the next thing i knew i was filling up the booking form from Booking.com and wallah,The Majestic Hotel here we come!

The collonial part of the hotel

So after we vrought sofiyyah for her 2nd dose of pneumococcal vaccine,we drove to this hotel from our house.it's located only 15 minutes away (duh)...

The parking rate is RM 10 per entry. Not included in the hotel rate ya.and later we checked in like usual and guess what...we got upgraded to junior suite room,FOC!one point for this hotel!hehe.

Well,to tell you the truth the main highlight of the room was actually the toilet but i forgot to take the picture.heh.

Around 5.30pm,we took the complimentary shuttle to Mid Valley. There were 3 destinations of the shuttle, Misvalley, Starhill and KL Sentral.for KL Sentral line, the shuttle departs every 30 minutes whereas the others depart every an hour.

For the first time,i felt like a tourist,in my own country.the old KTM station we passed by was looking nostalgic for me.i
And seeing our city in a tourist point of view makes me appreciate our country...well,a bit laa.hehe.

So after a few sushis and meet up with my husband's cousin,we head back to the hotel around 8 pm.oh yeah, the drop off point for the shuttle is at The Gardens.

After a good rest for the nite,we come down for breakfast at the Contango.the breakfast buffer was superb.many, many choices of food available, but i guess we were too tired to eat,so we ended up eatingg just a bit.

And yeah of course,Sofiyyah had her first swimming lesson in the bath tub!see how huge the tub is?huhu.and she actually enjoys the bath, kicking so hard in the water.thankfully, she loves swimming.can't wait to bring her into the real pool. ;)

So basically,the highlights are:

1. The staff - very very VERY friendly yah!we went there just wearing t-shirts and jeans and flip flops but they served us equally as the other well groomed tie suits guests.super love them.

2. The room - spacious i tell you.and the free upgrade...need i to say more?

3. The hotel - very classic.i heard that those who stays in the collonial side have their own 24 hours butler service!but that of course comes with the money.no cheap,no cheap.

Overall,i would definitely recommend this to you.especially if you're looking for a weekend hide out, some place secluded, then this is just the right place for you!
